Lynton Mortgages is a trading name of Just Mortgages Direct Limited. We provide mortgage advice and related services to individuals seeking to purchase property or remortgage their existing home.

Regulatory Status: Just Mortgages Direct Limited is an appointed representative of The Openwork Partnership, a trading style of Openwork Limited which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

2. Our Services

We offer the following services:

  • Mortgage advice: We provide advice and recommendations on mortgage products from a comprehensive range of lenders
  • Protection advice: We can advise on life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and buildings/contents insurance
  • Application support: We handle the mortgage application process on your behalf, liaising with lenders, solicitors, and other parties

3. Whose Products Do We Offer?

Mortgages: We offer mortgages from a comprehensive range of lenders across the market. This means we can search a wide panel of lenders to find products that may be suitable for your circumstances.

Protection: We offer protection products from a range of insurers. We will make a recommendation based on your needs and circumstances.

We do not charge a fee for standard mortgage advice. We receive commission from lenders when a mortgage completes. For complex cases, we may charge a fee which will be discussed and agreed with you in advance.

Any fees payable will be confirmed in writing before you commit to using our services. Fees are typically payable on mortgage completion.

5. What You Need to Know

Important Warnings

  • Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
  • You may have to pay an early repayment charge to your existing lender if you remortgage.
  • Think carefully before securing other debts against your home.

6. Your Responsibilities

To enable us to provide you with suitable advice, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your circumstances
  • Inform us promptly of any changes to your situation
  • Provide documentation we request in a timely manner
  • Read all documents we provide and ask questions if anything is unclear
  • Make mortgage payments on time once your mortgage completes

7. Confidentiality and Data Protection

We treat all information you provide as confidential. We will only share your information with third parties where necessary to provide our services (such as lenders and solicitors) or where required by law.

8. Conflicts of Interest

We are committed to treating you fairly and acting in your best interests. If we become aware of any conflict of interest, we will disclose this to you and take appropriate steps to manage it.

9. Complaints

We aim to provide excellent service, but if you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please let us know. We have a formal complaints procedure:

10. Compensation

We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). If we cannot meet our obligations, you may be entitled to compensation. Most types of investment business are covered up to £85,000. For mortgages, the FSCS does not cover poor advice but may cover losses if we fail to return money or documents.

11. Law and Jurisdiction
