This calculator doesn't include mortgage arrangement fees (which vary by lender), buildings insurance, moving day expenses (cleaning, takeaway meals), or any renovation or decoration costs for your new home.
Do I need a survey?
A survey isn't legally required, but it's generally recommended. A Homebuyer's Report can identify potential issues with the property that could save you money in the long run. For older or unusual properties, a full Building Survey may be worth considering.
Can I reduce these costs?
